Lessons When Running

This episode was by far one of our top favorite episodes to record. After you take a listen you will understand why. Listening to someone be willing to share their downs of life, but how they continue to grow and look at the top of the mountain instead of the bottom gives you a sense of hope with your own troubles or problems you may be facing. 
Besides that though, who in their right mind wants to run 100 miles!?? Well, Zach does and we can't wait to hear how it goes, so we think we will probably have him back after the big day.

MCC Softball Players

One of the awesome things about one of us working at the college is all of the awesome humans we get to meet. I, Hayley, was fortunate enough to meet these young ladies as freshmen, Nevaeh Ogden and Cassidy Fife. 
They both came to McCook to be collegiate softball players and then went through a coaching change after their freshmen year.

Matt Lowery

As we read in a news article they said it best, Matt Lowery of Burwell, Nebraska literally talked his way to the top. In 2008 Matt won the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship. (Oh and somehow he is related to Host, Hayley Kobza) 
Come to find out after talking with Matt during this episode, Nebraska breeds world champions in this avenue. We have one right here in our hometown of McCook even, Joe Frazier!!!

Coach Alexa McCall

Coach McCall is the head volleyball coach at North Platte Community College in North Platte, NE. She is a 3x Region 9 NJCAA DII coach of the year and has a handful of accolades that you can read in the link below. 
Along with her career she is a mother to two sweet kiddos, Hadlee and Hagan. This was a great episode on so many different levels…coaching, life and motherhood.
